Food
Our cuisine is famous for its flavor and variety all over the world. All of the meals are made in a hygienic manner by a professional chef, and the vegetables used are organically grown. Only vegetarian meals are served, and they are included in the price of our 200-hour yoga teacher training course in India.
Eating the correct foods is an important aspect of having a yogic lifestyle. Many people believe that doing yoga is sufficient and that they do not need to control their food habits. At YogaTX, we believe that yoga is more than just a mind-body workout; it is a way of life. Yoga can help you gain more benefits if you combine it with appropriate dietary habits.
Our food is important not only for our physical health but also for our mental wellness. Food is classified differently in the yoga world than it is in the scientific world.
The Yogic Diet: Nourish Your Body & Mind
At YogaTX, we believe that food is more than just fuel—it’s a way to connect with your body and mind. That’s why we follow the yogic diet, which is rooted in the principles of Satva, Rajas, and Tamas.
What is a Yogic Diet?
- Sattvic Food: Promotes energy, clarity, and lightness. Think fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts.
- Rajasic Food: Can make you feel restless or overstimulated. Examples include spicy, fried, or overly processed foods.
- Tamasic Food: Leads to heaviness and lethargy. This includes stale, overly sweet, or non-vegetarian dishes.
During your stay at YogaTX, you’ll follow a sattvic diet to support your practice and overall well-being.

We provide three wholesome meals daily:
- Breakfast: Fresh fruits, porridge, or herbal teas.
